FM200 (HFC 227EA) Gas Automatic Extinguishing System
The chemical name of the gas known as Fm200 HFC-227 ea in the market is heptafluoropropane. Fm200 gas is a colorless and odorless gas. Similar to Halon, it can be stored in liquid form by filling cylinders under 25 and 42 bar pressure. It is the most widely used gas alternative to Halon gas. While the extinguishing feature of Halon gas is chemical, the extinguishing feature of FM200 gas is physical. In this system, there is FM200 gas to be used as an extinguisher, cylinders where the gas is stored, piping and nozzles that allow the gas to be discharged to the fire area. The propellant gas used to pressurize the cylinders is nitrogen (N2). The cylinders and nozzles in the FM200 system can be manufactured by us or imported from abroad. We have domestic production or imported product options according to customer preferences. The valves used in both systems have international approvals.
