All buildings with a closed usage area larger than 2000m2, and manufacturing and workshops larger than 1000m2 should be equipped with fire cabinets. If the building is protected with a sprinkler system and a fire department connection is left, the distance between fire cabinets can be increased up to 45m.
In addition, project planning and hydraulic calculations should be done. Fire pumps should also be selected with the correct capacities suitable for the field. Otherwise, if correct hydraulic calculations are not made, it will not be possible to ensure healthy operation. For this reason, sufficient water flow cannot be provided and the desired water cannot be thrown to a sufficient distance. At the same time, it is always important that the personnel working in the field are experts along with the project and hydraulic calculations.

Optionally, double-compartment and triple-compartment models are also applied in these fire cabinets, and there are single-compartment products where the portable extinguisher and hose reel are in the same volume, especially used in areas with limited space.
